Cassandra was trapped in the amber for many years and S.H.I.E.L.D. found her & set her free. She was completely in an unknown world without knowing what was going on the last 2 centuries.

Gabe (OC) helped her a lot with understanding of the modern world and adjusting. Because she was missing her old friend Owl, Gabe decided to give her new one.
